THE driver of a coach which was involved in a crash in which a couple were killed has been charged with manslaughter.
Paul and Deborah Clements, from South Yorkshire, died after the crash near Staxton, North Yorkshire, last September.
A 52-year-old man from Staffordshire has been charged with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving and one of manslaughter.
A 60-year-old man from Staffordshire is also charged with manslaughter.
Both men have been bailed to appear before Scarborough magistrates on February 2.
Two other people who were arrested in connection with the crash, a 38-year-old man and a 59-year-old woman, also from the Staffordshire area, have been released without charge.
Six passengers on the coach, which was taking adults and children to a marching band competition in Scarborough, suffered minor injuries.
