STEP UP: Fergus Early puts a class through its paces as dancers from decades gone by gathered for a day of celebration and choreography. A group of dancers who studied in the 1960s and 1970s got together to go through some of the old steps and learn a few new ones. Organised by Pam Howard, of South East Arts, the Day of Dance at Northfleet School for Girls was choreographed by Early. Mrs Howard said: “It was a most successful day, with inspirational teaching. People who have not been able to dance for more than 20 years felt young again”
