Laura takes the tiara

Business administrator Laura Azevedo, 19, from Hartlepool, won the Miss Durham competition, held at Sedgefield Racecourse last night.
She will go on to represent the area in the Miss England competition in July.
Second place went to 20-year-old Samantha Osbourne, from Middlesbrough, and third was Jessica Saint, 19, from Aycliffe Village, County Durham.
