Charity bike ride cancelled

A CHARITY bike ride that was to be held this summer to raise money for seriously-ill children has been cancelled.
The family event in aid of the Anthony Nolan Trust was to be held in Hamsterley Forest, near Bishop Auckland, County Durham, on June 8.
Due to unforeseen circumstances the organisers have had to cancel the event and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
The charity supports young leukaemia patients by matching bone marrow donors with people needing stem cell transplants.
