Porn film-maker believed sex 'cleaner' was over 16, court told

A MAN who filmed himself having sex with a girl under the age of 16 said he believed she was older, a court heard.

Pornographic film-maker and former male stripper Jimmy Wilson agreed the girl came to his house as a potential cleaner, but denied that she told him her age.

Durham Crown Court heard that she took part in consensual sex with Mr Wilson on at least four visits to his home, none of which involved any cleaning.

Forty-nine-year-old Mr Wilson said the girl asked questions about his mail order pornographic film business, Europose, and looked at a questionnaire he gave potential participants in his DVDs.

Mr Wilson said the girl claimed she had done most of the acts listed on the form.

Giving evidence on the second day of his trial, Mr Wilson said he told the girl she would have to be at least 18 to appear in the films.

Cross-examined by prosecution barrister Mark Giuliani, Mr Wilson agreed some of his films were titled "Teen Sex", but all those featured were aged 18 or above.

Mr Wilson said when the girl first came to his house he never had any intention of filming her.

But Mr Giuliani said that the girl had emphatically told Mr Wilson her age and yet he syill had sex with her.

He added: "You thought you could get away with it and carried on regardless?"

Mr Wilson, of Heather Way, Stanley, County Durham, who denied the claim, pleads 'not guilty' to five counts of sexual activity with a child.

The jury returned a formal 'not guilty' verdict earlier today relating to a sixth charge, paying a person aged under 18 for sexual services, on the direction of Judge Richard Lowden.
