Two goals in the last four minutes by Guisborough knocked Newton Aycliffe out of the FA Cup at Moore Lane.
Guisborough levelled in stoppage time on Saturday thanks to their keeper Jordan Nixon, and they took the lead on 86 minutes with a great free kick by Steve Roberts, then two minutes later Nathan Steel got a second. Aycliffe’s Mattie Pennal was dismissed late in the game.
In the Northern League, Shildon won 2-0 at Ryhope CW.
They took the lead after eight minutes with a strike by new signing Keith Graydon, and after withstanding some strong Ryhope pressure in the second half, Billy Greulich-Smith fired the second in the last minute.
Dunston hammered Whitley Bay 8-0 in the other game.
