A PENSIONER suffered a broken wrist after being hit by an off-road motorbike.

The 76-year-old was on green belt land close to Foxes Wood, near Newfield Crescent in Acklam, at about 7.30pm on Sunday, August 5 when the incident happened.

He was taken to James Cook University Hospital and treated for a fracture to his wrist and injuries to his fingers.

The motorbike rider left the scene before police arrived and officers are asking for this person to come forward as he might be able to help with inquiries.
