EMERGENCY services are on the scene of a suspected assault in Thornaby.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police has confirmed the force is investigating a suspected assault on a man in his 20s.
The spokesperson could not provide any further details, or confirm if any arrests had been made.
The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNNAS) landed on a field next to Cheeky Monkees nursery on Baysdale Road.
Staff have confirmed no one at the nursery is involved in the incident and all children are safe.
