A STORAGE firm is set to double its capacity by opening a new facility for an additional 150 container units.
Box Clever was set up in Billingham in 2007 as one of the first container storage facilities in the area.
The firm has enjoyed steady growth since then despite the impact of the recession and slow economic recovery.
But with more home and business owners using fixed container units for storage, Box Clever has decided to open a second facility at Cowpen Lane Industrial Estate in Billingham.
Jenny Longmire, co-ordinator for Box Clever, said: “The new facility at Cowpen Lane allows us to have 300 storage units across both sites and the aim now is to expand further across the North East with up to five sites.”
