POLICE are asking the public for help in finding a man who has breached his licence of release from prison.

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for help to find the wanted Scarborough man, Aaron Goodwin, who also has links to Scotland and County Durham.

Mr Goodwin, 27, is wanted for recall to prison for breaching the terms of his licence after being released from prison in May 2018.

He has served five months of a 12-month jail term for theft before his early release.

His licence was revoked on July 17, 2018 and numerous attempts have been made to arrest him, but he remains on the run.

He also has links to Perth in Scotland and Burnopfield in County Durham, and may be in these areas.

Anyone who has seen Mr Goodwin or knows where he is now is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 01904-618691.
