A NEW Arriva bus ticket to offer cheaper bus travel to the under 16s is being trialled in Teesside throughout the summer.
The new unlimited travel ticket, the Child Summer Pass, can be used across all routes in the Teesside and East Cleveland area until September 6 and is available to purchase via the company's m-ticket app.
It will help children aged five-16 travelling over the school holidays save money over the next six weeks.
Nick Knox, of Arriva North East said: “We hope that the new ticket offer will encourage more kids to take the bus when planning their exciting adventures this summer.”
For families travelling together over the summer holidays, there is also a family day ticket for five people – two adults and up to three children – available for £13.50, making travel for the whole family even more affordable.
