A THREE-legged dog that doesn’t let his missing limb hold him back is on the hunt for a new home.
Bobby, a three-year-old Collie, is currently being cared for by staff at Dogs Trust Darlington’s Sadberge site.
His rear right leg was amputated in 2016 after having a long-standing fracture.
New owners would have to consider Bobby’s needs, including raised water and food bowls.
Sue Embleton, rehoming centre manager at Dogs Trust Darlington, said: “Bobby may be shy and take a little longer to get to know people, but once he does he’ll make a great friend.
“He’s a beautiful dog and full of life and is happiest when he’s around other dogs, hence needing to live with an existing confident dog in his new home.
“Bobby can live with children aged 16 and over and is looking for a patient family that will allow him the time to settle into their home.”
