A MAN and a woman have been seriously injured in a car crash involving three vehicles.
The condition of the man is described as “critical but stable” following the incident at 12.24pm on Sunday.
He had been driving a silver Renault Clio southbound towards the A1027 on Wolviston Road, Billingham, when he was involved in the crash with a Renault Captur and Renault Megane.
A woman who was the front seat passenger in the Megane was also seriously injured and her condition is described as stable.
Both remain in hospital following the crash.
Police are appealing for any witnesses of the incident or anyone who may have information to assist with police enquiries.
