ENGLAND goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has been given his own parking space at Lidl.
The 24-year-old has been honoured for his performances with a reserved space at his local supermarket in Gateshead.
Lidl bosses made the same gesture to fellow stars Harry Kane, Kieron Trippier and manager Gareth Southgate in a sign of their appreciation.
Christian Härtnagel, the CEO of Lidl UK said: “We’re delighted to be able to show our appreciation to Gareth and the incredible England team by celebrating in their local Lidl.
“As the official supermarket of the England Football Team we have been supporting the players for a number of years and, along with many others, feel very proud of what they’ve achieved.”
The firm’s Dream Big with Lidl campaign brings together both the supermarket’s backing of the England team and Lidl’s grassroots initiative FA Lidl Skills, which has created 3 million opportunities for 5-11 year olds to play football over the last three years.
