MOTORISTS have been warned an oversized load will make its way through the North-East today.
The load, which appears to have a police escort, is heading east this morning from Cumbria.
Cumbria Roads Police, on Twitter, said the so-called "monster" was travelling via the M6 south and A66 to reach the A1.
A spokesperson thanked drivers in advance for their patience.
