THREE esteemed chefs have unveiled their menus for a unique new dining experience at a North-East festival this summer.

Hardwick Live will descend on Hardwick Hal, near Sedgefield, on Saturday and Sunday, August 18 and 19, and organisers have launched four new pop-up feasting experiences.

The two-day event will feature Indie favourites Kaiser Chiefs plus a star-studded line up including Ash, Happy Mondays and Shed Seven.

And on the culinary bill are top local chefs Terry Laybourne, Marcus Bennett and Chris Finnigan.

The chefs will take their turn to prepare a three-course meal in a feasting marquee, showing off their skills in a cooking demonstration before serving up.

Among the dishes on offer are a seven-hour shoulder of lamb, a queen scallop gratin, and a strawberry and white chocolate sundae.

Admission is by advance ticket only. Lunch cost £30 and evening meals cost £35.
