POLICE have closed a rural road following a large diesel spillage.
Officers are currently at the scene of Redgate Bank, in Wolsingham while the road from Wolsingham to Eastgate has also been affected.
A spokesman for Crook Police asked motorists to drive carefully and confirmed Durham County Council has been notified.
