A MAN has been arrested after two people were allegedly stabbed during a fight in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Cleveland Police are investigating a report of a fight outside the Garrick Pub on West Row, in Stockton, in the early hours of Sunday morning.

It was reported that a number of men, one said to be in possession of a knife, were fighting at approximately 2am.

It is alleged that during the incident that two men were stabbed and another received a serious head injury.

A 40-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 wounding in relation to the alleged incident and enquiries are on-going.
