A FIRE in 7,000 square metres of woodland was being tackled on Sunday night.
"We have four appliances and the Bulk Water Tanker in attendance at a fire near Hurworth Burn," said County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service.
"7,000 square metres of deep seated woodland on fire. We are working with our colleagues from (Cleveland Fire Brigade) to extinguish this fire."
