Village show
MIDDLETON and Aislaby village hall will host the 11th village show, followed by a barbecue with live music, on August 19. The event offers local people the opportunity to show produce and crafts in 11 different categories with special sections for children.
Charity sale
A CAR boot sale will take place at the Royal Voluntary Centre in Pickering on August 10, at 11am. Spaces are available outside and inside.The money raised at the event, organised by Royal Voluntary Service, can be for a charity or community group. Vintage day
A DAY of vintage tractors, engines and models, suitable for enthusiasts and families alike, will take place at Ryedale Folk Museum, Hutton-le-Hole, on July 29 from 10am to 4pm. Young music
A CONCERT by Yorkshire Young Musicians will take place at Helmsley Arts Centre on July 28 at 4pm, as part of the Ryedale Festival. Tickets are £5 and £2.50 for under 25s. Contact 01751-475777 or box.office@ryedalefestival.com.
Artisan food
THIRSK is hosting its first artisan food and drink market on Saturday, July 28. In the Market Place from 9am, there will be a variety of stalls selling everything from handmade fudge to African street food.
