A COMMUNITY arts organisation based in Bishop Auckland is calling would-be performers to take part in its summer school.
Daisy Arts is hosting a five-day theatrical summer school in Palace Green Library and Palace Green, Durham City, this month.
A spokesperson for Daisy Arts said: “We welcome storytellers, performers, musicians and singers to work alongside professional actors and musicians to create a performance filled with bizarre tales, the strangest of characters and an atmospheric orchestra.
“Be inspired by ‘Durham’s Oldest Mystery’ as we are guided on a tour of Palace Green Library’s new exhibition, Bodies of Evidence.”
Suitable for children aged eight and over, the summer school costs £25. It will run from Monday, July 23.
