THE search for a diver who has been missing off the North Yorkshire for four days is continuing.
Today officers from the Yorkshire and Humberside Underwater Search and Marine Unit are making preparations to carry out underwater searches on Thursday and Friday this week.
Due to the complexities of the dive and for safety reasons, the officers have been carrying out "preparation dives" today.
A police spokesman said they were continuing to support the missing diver’s family and are keeping them up to date with the search plans.
The diver, a 74-year-old man from Scarborough, was reported missing at 6.55pm last Sunday.
