ALDI will close ALL its stores at 3pm on Sunday if England get to the World Cup final.

England face Croatia on Wednesday night in the semi-finals of the tournament in Russia.

If they win they will face the winners of today's match between France and Belgium.

Giles Hurley, Aldi's UK boss, said: “Everybody is getting behind the England team out in Russia, including our customers and colleagues.

“With the final scheduled to kick off at 4pm on the Sunday afternoon, we want to make sure that, if England make it that far, our team have time to finish work and get home to watch the match, just like everyone else.

“We’re all really looking forward to cheering on Harry Kane and the boys.”
