Board meeting

GREAT Aycliffe and Middridge Partnership (AAP) will hold a board meeting on Tuesday, July 17, between 6pm and 8pm at Aycliffe Village Hall. The public is invited to observe proceedings or raise neighbourhood or policing issues they would like the board to address, by submitting them in writing in advance of the meeting. There will be a presentation by Durham County Council on its County Durham Plan Preferred Options consultation and an update on the Active Durham programme. There will also be two project proposals being put to the board for approval from councillors’ neighbourhood budgets. Sew session

SEW Easy sessions will be held in the Sedgefield Parish Hall boardroom from 6.30pm until 9.30pm tonight (Monday, July 9), and from 10.30am until 1.30pm on Wednesday, July 11. For more information call 01740-622447.

Bubbly fun

SEDGEFIELD Twinning Association will host a ‘strawberries and bubbly’ event in Ceddesfeld Hall, on Rectory Row, from 4pm until 6pm on Friday. The event will include a quiz that will challenge people on how well they know Sedgefield using a selection of photos. Tea and coffee will also be provided. Craft date

A CRAFT fair will be held at St Paul’s Centre, on St Paul's Gardens, Spennymoor, on Saturday, October 20. Applications for stall holders are now open. Tables cost £10 and nyone interested in holding one can email stpaulscentre@btconnect.com or call 01388-813404 stating what craft or items would be sold on the stall.
