PUPILS at St Bernadette's Primary in Nunthorpe are backing England to go all the way.
On Friday, afternoon in the school's Golden Time period, pupils and staff made a World Cup video as a good luck message for the England football team ahead of their quarter-final match against Sweden on Saturday.
Head teacher Paul Conway said: "The whole school were involved in the video and they sang along to 'Vindaloo'.
"Laura Stoker, Year 6 teacher, thought it would be a great way for the children to remember this year’s historic World Cup England team.
"The children were stationed in various points across the school cheering their support of England whilst I walked around oblivious to the excitement.
"At the end of the video, the children who followed me celebrated together a successful penalty kick – could it be an omen?"
