TRAFFIC: A water main has burst on the A689 off the A1(M) Junction 60 for Bradbury Picture: GOOGLE
A BURST water main is causing queuing traffic on the A689 near Durham.
The road is just passable on the A689 both ways between the A1(M) Junction 60 (Bradbury) and Sandy Bank.
Temporary traffic lights are in place to help the flow of traffic near the railway bridge.
Durham Police RPU first tweeted to warn drivers of the burst main shortly before 2am.
