A PENSIONER died after fracturing her hip when she fell over in her care home, an inquest heard.
Isobel Grassie suffered a cardiac arrest while in Middlesbrough's James Cook University Hospital receiving treatment for her injury.
The 94-year-old resident in Guisborough Manor Care Home was described as a 'frail' pensioner during the hearing at Teesside Coroners Court.
The court heard that the family has raised no concerns about her medical care and the pensioner was under a 'do not resuscitate' request.
Assistant Teesside Coroner Jo Wharton recorded that Mrs Grassie died as a result of the injury suffered in her fall.
