A FLY-on-the-wall reality series set in Redcar is set to be screened on BBC2.
The Mighty Redcar, described as a real-life soap opera, focuses on the relationships between two generations and was filmed over a year.
It features a 1980s soundtrack, includes archive footage of Redcar in its heyday, and is described as a nostalgic and modern look at life in a northern town.
A film crew from 72 Films, the company behind 24 Hours in A&E and 24 Hours in Police Custody, spent a year in Redcar looking at how the town was coping in the aftermath of the closure of the steelworks.
The first episode was shown at the Sheffield Doc Fest.
