A CHAINSAW juggler who rides motorbikes through burning rings of fire blindfolded is just one of the attractions at a country show being staged this weekend.
Dangerous Steve will be appearing at Lanchester Agricultural Show on Sunday at 10.45am and 1.30pm.
Thousands of people are expected to attend the 66th annual event at Newhouses Farm, on the A691 near Lanchester.
There will also be ferret-racing, a Shetland pony Grand National, classic cars, horse classes, including jumping and showing, along with a vintage tractor show and crafts.
Live bands, a beer tent, fairground rides, and many fun family friendly activities have also been arranged to keep the crowds entertained.
Lanchester Agricultural Society’s president Sean Kell said: “We have got a bigger demonstration ring this year with a couple of headline acts.
“It is a bit different but hopefully it will be a bit of crowd-puller.
“We think this is going to be the biggest one ever because we have pulled the stops out and invested a bit more.
“We are growing this show year on year.”
Entry: adults £7, children over five £3. Free parking
