TWO youngsters were injured when the car they were travelling in overturned.

The black Vauxhall Corsa they were in hit a bollard on Station Road in Billingham, Teesside, before overturning and coming to rest on its roof.

The 17-year-old male driver suffered a broken hand and the 17-year-old female passenger suffered neck and back pain in the accident, which happened at about 9.20pm last night, Monday.

Both were taken to the University Hospital of North Tees for treatment before being released.
