THE GIFT shop at The Station, Richmond, is taking part in The Great Exhibition of The North this summer by running a time capsule project.
Visitors will be invited to produce a mini piece of artwork inspired by their visit to The Station and the surrounding area, small enough to fit on a lollypop stick for children and concertina sketchbook for adults, which will then be placed in a time capsule.
Over the 80 days of the project a variety of media will be introduced to encourage return visits including ink, collage and printmaking led by artist and shop manager Sue Dewhurst.
She said: “We are thrilled to be part of The Great Exhibition of The North's 'Inspired By...' programme."
The time capsule project started at The Station on June 23 and will run until September 9.
