CHILDREN and families can get creative at libraries across County Durham this summer at a series of art and crafts sessions.
Artist Vicky Holbrough will encourage people to take inspiration from the great outdoors to make a wire bird sculpture with glass beads and drift wood. And lino print sessions will be run by artists from North East-based MBC Ceramics. Suitable for all the family, the sessions will see participants taking photographs of nearby sights, colours and textures before creating lino cuts to use for printing.
Sessions will be held at Chester le Street, Barnard Castle, Crook, Spennymoor, Peterlee, Seaham, Consett, Stanley, Newton Aycliffe and Shildon.
