FOUND: This dog was found in Shildon at the weekend and has been taken to kennels where it can be claimed by the owner
A LITTLE dog found on the road in a town centre yesterday has been taken in by an animal charity where its owner can reclaim it.
The Jack Russell type dog was rescued from Main Street, in Shildon, at 1.45pm on Sunday.
Bishop Auckland police said she was taken to Stray Aid, in Coxhoe, which rescues and rehomes lost or unloved dogs.
Anyone who recognises her can call the kennel staff on 0300-999-4247.
