YOUNGSTERS have been warned about potentially endangering lives after reports of children playing on a helicopter pad used by emergency services.
The youngsters were spotted on the helicopter pad at Middlesbrough’s James Cook University Hospital.
The platform is regularly used for take offs and landings by the Great North Air Ambulance Service, as well as trauma teams on stand-by in case of major incidents.
A spokesman said on Facebook: “This behaviour is not acceptable. These kids are endangering their own lives and also preventing emergency services from doing their job.”
