A RECORD number of vintage John Deere tractors and Amanco engines will be showcased at this year’s Tractor Fest at Newby Hall near Ripon.

In total more than 1,500 classic tractors, engines, commercial vehicles, motorcycles and cars of varied marques and vintages will converge for the event on June 9 and 10.

More than 70 John Deere tractors dating from 1917 to the present day will celebrate the brand's centenary, while organisers say the 150-strong Amanco engine exhibit sets a new UK record for this make of engine at any show.

Tickets are priced at £13 adults and £10 children (under-fours go free) on the day or £12.25 adults and seniors, £9.25 children if bought in advance.
