A GUN-TOTING householder who went into the street to remonstrate with children playing cricket has been told to prepare for prison.
Christopher Jones pleaded guilty to racially-aggravated fear or provocation of violence and possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear on April 28.
Teesside Crown Court heard that the 49-year-old was armed with what a judge described as "a fearsome-looking" .177 revolver air pistol.
Jones, of Edward Street, Stockton, will be sentenced next Friday when the weapon and CCTV footage of the incident will be available.
Judge Sean Morris told him: "A custodial sentence is inevitable. There is no question of a suspended sentence. Me granting you bail gives you the opportunity to put your affairs in order."
