CYCLING: The Big Bike Ride is being held in Sunderland in June
MORE than 200 people have signed up a for series of community cycle rides.
A five mile route will follow the perimeter of Herrington Country Parks setting off from 10am on Saturday, June 16, as part of the Active Sunderland Big Bike Ride.
The following day riders will start and finish at St Peter’s Riverside near the University of Sunderland campus.
Starting at 9.45am, cyclists will have a choice of two distances of 20 or 35 miles covering many areas within the city.
