THE trustees of Scarlett Moffat’s charity have visited a young people's mental health service to see how they can support its work.

The Angel Trust has already provided youngsters who attend SPACE in Spennymoor with smart new hoodies for a recent trip to London. And this week the team met with staff and the families who benefit from the service to identify more ways to help.

Scarlett, who is an ambassador, could not make it due to ill health, but her mother and fellow Gogglebox star Betty Moffatt attended, along with drag artist Tess Tickle and Angel Trust chief executive Clair McGregor.

Wendy Minhinnett, of SPACE, said: “Often when you apply for funding you just fill in a form, so its lovely to say thank you in person and to show where the donations are going.”
