RECORDS, CDs and vinyls of all musical genres are up for grabs when a record fair returns to Stockton town centre at the weekend.

This year’s event, held in association with Record Fairs Up North, looks to match the scale of last year – which saw the venue jam-packed with a variety of stalls.

There will be a range of sellers with everything from records, CDs, and music DVDs to books, magazines, turntables and classic memorabilia.

Councillor Norma Wilburn, Stockton Borough Council’s cabinet member for arts, leisure and culture, said: “It’s the perfect place to pick up records that can’t be found anywhere else – from highly collectable rare records to classic albums at bargain prices.

“With Stockton Stages – the town’s principle music festival – just a week away, we hope it will whet the appetite of those hoping to return for this event.”

The fair will fill a marquee the High Street from 10am until 4pm on Saturday.
