SERVICE: A train at Darlington Railway station.
A BROKEN down train stuck on tracks in Darlington caused lengthy delays for rail passengers.
Fewer trains were able to run on some lines and services through Darlington Railway Station were subject to disruption on all routes.
The train broke down at around 2.40pm on Tuesday afternoon and was stuck on tracks heading south.
All disruption following the incident was cleared at around 4.20pm.
