A GROUP of youths have been found drinking alcohol and behaving anti-socially in the rose garden in South Park.
The East Neighbourhood Police team, of Darlington Police, reported that the number of youths congregating in the garden has increased in recent weeks and damage has also been caused to the site.
The East Neighbourhood Police team will be carrying out more patrols in the area and have reminded parents that their children may be dealt with by officers if they are found to be breaking the law.
A Darlington Police spokesman added: "The rose garden is not a play area and anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated."
