Police are appealing for witnesses following the crash
A CRASH on the A66 has prompted a police appeal.
A black Volkswagen Golf hit a barrier on the A66 westbound in Middlesbrough, between Newport and the A19.
No one was injured in the crash at 1.55pm on Sunday.
A grey Toyota Yaris was driving in front of the Volkswagen Golf at the time and police would like to speak to the driver of the Yaris.
Witnesses can contact PC Paul Dixon via non-emergency number 101, quoting 84950.
