TRANSPENNINE Express passengers have been given a sneak peak of its new Nova 3 train.
Thirteen, five carriage trains have been ordered by the rail company, which are being tested in the Czech Republic.
They each have 291 seats compared to 181 on the current Class 185 trains operated by TPE.
Once testing is complete, the trains will travel to the UK where further tests will be carried out before the new trains begin carrying customers between Liverpool, Manchester, Huddersfield, Leeds, York, Scarborough and Middlesbrough.
Each train features more luggage space, USB charging points, free wifi in both standard and first class and an entertainment system featuring the latest TV shows, news and films.
They are being manufactured by Spanish-based CAF which is also building trains for Northern rail.
