AN award winning musician will perform at the second in Bishop Auckland Music Society's 2018 concert series.
Saxophonist Jess Gillam will perform at St Andrew's Church, South Church, in Bishop Auckland, at 7.30pm on Friday, May 18, with Jonathan Fisher at the piano.
Miss Gillam made history in 2016, at the age of 17, as the first saxophonist to win the woodwind final of the BBC Young Musician competition.
Over the last year, she has made her BBC Proms debut at the Royal Albert Hall, performing with both the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the BBC Concert Orchestra.
