A FOOTBALL charity is trying to win a competition to send its youngsters on a dream drip to Wembley - and you can help them achieve it.

MFC Foundation, the charity arm of Middlesbrough Football Club, is hoping to send its Herlingshaw Centre SSE Wildcats girls to the Women's FA Cup final between Arsenal and Chelsea next month.

To do this, it needs supporters to retweet a picture on the Foundation's Twitter account, and the top three pictures with the most retweets across the country will win the prize.

The deadline for retweets is 12 noon tomorrow (Sunday), and the winner is expected to be announced on Monday.

Hundreds of SSE Wildcats girl's football centres across the country have entered the competition, which will see winners receive an adult and child ticket for the final for each member of the team, as well as travel costs.

SSE Wildcats Girls’ football centres provide girls aged five to 11 with regular opportunities to play football.

The initiative offers organised sessions in a fun and engaging environment created exclusively for girls.

More than 200 clubs were piloted across England in 2017 and the scheme is now being extended to more than 900 centres with 26,000 participants across the country.
