CHILDREN have been setting fire to trees in a public wood.
Over the last two weeks Durham Police have received reports of trees being set alight in woodland and green space behind Parkside Academy in Willington.
The most recent incident occurred on Friday, April 13.
Police have released images of the damaged trees and are appealing to anyone with any information to get in touch.
