ACCIDENT: Norton Road, Stockton
AN AIR ambulance was called to assist after a pedestrian was hurt in a road traffic accident.
The air ambulance landed in a nearby school field after a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in Norton Road, Stockton, shortly after 7pm.
Police closed the road to traffic in both directions while emergency services dealt with the unfolding scene near to Nisa Stores.
The condition of the casualty is not known at this stage.
