THE sounds of three decades of pop are heading to Bents Park this summer as Scouting for Girls, Roachford and The Fizz headline a free outdoor concert.
All three are due to perform at the third of this year’s South Tyneside Festival Sunday Concerts on July 22.
The Fizz – the band originally known as Bucks Fizz – will bring an 80s flavour to the day, as Roachford relives the 90s and Scouting for Girls takes the crowds back a few years to their noughties hey-day.
Admission to this, and all the other Sunday concerts is free of charge, but fans can choose to upgrade to a Priority Plus ticket.
Priced at £5 each, these will guarantee earlier access to the park to pick the best spot, along with access to a dedicated bar area and toilets. However, there will only be a limited number available, and they must be bought in advance. Tickets from Ticketmaster at www.ticketmaster.co.uk/southtynesidefestival or by calling 0844 844 0444.
