NICOLE Hutton is the toast of the town - after being named as Britain's Best Bridesmaid.
She beat six other finalists to take the national title in the contest organised by group travel experts Red7.
Bride Elizabeth Upward, who had recently lost her parents, nominated Nicole, from Bedale, North Yorkshire, for making her dream Las Vegas wedding to Tom even more special by secretly jetting out to join her.
“I just wanted to give my best friend the best experience ever after what she had been through,” said Nicole. “I know she would have done the same for me - that's what friends are for.”
“I really didn't do this for recognition and I really didn't expect it. It meant the world to me to be part of her and Tom's special day."
