POLICE are asking parents if they know where their children are on an evening after a rise of ant-social behaviour.
On Thursday night, police were called to Consett Park and Consett Bus Station.
In the park a boy was assaulted and a member of the public reported being spat at by a youth in the bus station.
Consett Police said: "The Bus Company have reported their drivers are being verbally abused, youths are running in front of moving buses and passengers are saying they feel so intimidated by the gangs and language used they do not feel safe waiting for buses.
"Parents do you know where your kids are on an evening?"
